As you drive into the town of Huskisson, the sign says it all!! "The Gateway to Jervis Bay"

Huskisson & Jervis Bay or as the locals call it, Husky and JB are beautiful, scenic fun and friendly towns that are a must to visit on your travels. We based ourselves at the gorgeous town of Huskisson and parked up our van at Huskisson White Sands Holiday Park!

Murray's Beach is just one of the many beautiful beaches around here..

Murray's Beach is just one of the many beautiful beaches around here..

Huskisson White Sands Holiday Park is in a sensational location, on a clifftop that overlooks Jervis Bay. Only a 1 minute walk to the beautiful calm waters and white sands. A very well maintained park with ensuite and drive through sites, playground and a gorgeous boardwalk into Huskisson!  For those without a van, the ocean view cabins here are just divine. To top it all off, some super friendly staff who were only more than willing to help us out!

Jervis Bay hosts some of the most pristine beaches, with crystal clear waters and pure white sand! Huskisson is the perfect seaside escape! The marine Park hosts plenty of bottlenose dolphins, penguins and migrating whales. On the land, keep an eye out for all the friendly kangaroos that stroll through the caravan parks and campsites, last year we had one hop straight into our caravan.

A kangaroo decides to jump inside our caravan!!! Check out our Facebook Page "Trip In A Van"

If you're keen for a bit of adventure stroll to the marina and take a dolphin or whale watching tour. Snorkelling, sailing, diving and kayaking are just a few of the amazing things you can do in the area. The township itself is a prime tourist destination. Shops, cafes and restaurants line the Main Street and by far the best coffee in town is Pilgrams Vegetarian Cafe. They've got some seriously delicious food too!

Get Yourself on a Fishing Charter like Justin, he went out with "Bay & Basin Sportfishing". A day out with guide Greg Reid in the Basin produced some great flathead. One of the best days on the water Justin has had!!

Catch and release monster flathead in St Georges Basin! NSW Australia.

There are also a lot of great land based fishing spots as well, with a feed of squid being caught straight off the beach.

We hit the tourist hotspots at Hyams Beach, Green Patch and Murrays Beach which are among some of the most amazing beaches we've seen on our travels. Hyams Beach has the whitest sand of any beach in the world (that's pretty darn impressive).

We absolutely loved Huskisson and Jervis Bay, they're an absolute must stop on your travels and definitely stop in and see the great team at the Huskisson White Sands Tourist Park.

After a few months across the Top End of Australia and a quick trip down the centre to Uluru, we were  excited to hit Cairns and see some beautiful coastline again! The weather has been absolutely mint and there is so much to see and do.

BIG4 MacDonnell Range Holiday Park - Alice Springs

BIG4 MacDonnell Range Holiday Park - Alice Springs

We have come across quite the surprise in the town of Alice Springs and the BIG4 MacDonnell Ranges Holiday Park. Before we arrived into Alice, we were not thinking of it as the second largest town in the Territory. We thought it was going to be a quick stopover to refresh and stock up on groceries before we headed down to The Rock.

Kalbarri is an Amazing coastal town surrounded by National Parks. The coastal cliffs and Epic surf beaches are just a few of the attractions that brought us here. The Kalbarri Tudor Holiday Park was a great place to stay while we enjoyed what Kalbarri has to offer. The park itself is a short walk from the centre of town and the great inlet foreshore. There is a great playground on site with jumping pillow and the pool is right beside it as well.

We've hit Perth! A jam packed day today exploring the sights of the city. We hit up Kings Park, drank delicious coffee, had our van serviced at the fantastic George Day Caravans & even done some shopping at Westfield. A great base to explore from here at Perth Central. The caravan park has some of the friendliest staff and positioned very close to the city if you're looking at heading to the Perth Zoo or getting some serious shopping done.

Friday nights you'll find a souvlaki van and sweets available at the camp kitchen which is a good time and a great way to meet other travellers. The Park has plenty of grassy, shady sites and the pool is great for a quick dip to cool off.

A top place to stay while enjoying the Perth city centre.
